NECA Cult Classics Dawn Of The Dead Figures Guide

This isn't the morning of the dead or the twilight of the dead. This isn't the evening of the dead or the midnight of the dead. Forget about the dusk of the dead, this is the Dawn of the Dead! Straight from George Romero's zombie gorefest comes the Flyboy Zombie Action Figure. He's going to be joining a bunch of other cool movie characters in Cult Classics Series 3, but he serves the distinction of being the first George Romero Zombie Action Figure ever! That's a pretty big honor considering how many decades have spanned since the original Night of the Living Dead. NECA presents even more of your favorite cult movie icons in Cult Classics Series 4. We've got zombies, zombie killers, killer dolls, and even the king himself... sort of. Finely detailed, articulated, and loaded with accessories, see why Cult Classics continue to please hard-core collectors and casual fans alike.

This blue-skinned ghoul wanders the halls of the local mall, stalking and terrorizing the protagonists of the hit film Dawn of the Dead. Now he gets the Cult Classics treatment! This disturbingly realistic Hare Krishna Zombie has multiple points of articulation and includes storage boxes, a tambourine, removable glasses, and a storage-room base. 1999 REDS TOYS DAWN OF THE DEAD JAPAN IMPORT 7'INCH FIGURES

In 1999, Reds Toys was licensed by Gaga, to issue action figures for Zombie. In the United States the movie is known as Dawn Of The Dead. There was high expectation but ultimately highly exaggerated, anorexic caricatures of familiar characters: Bald Head, Stephen, 'Hatchet Head' (machete zombie), Motorcycle Rider (Tom Savini's Blades character). They sold poorly like the Fewture toys before them, but it has nothing to do with Dawn not being popular and everything to do with bad sculpting. However, they are rare and often hard to find. Those lucky enough to get them pay up to $60.00 to $100.00 a peice.
